Artist: Acoustic Syndicate Date: 10/31/2002 Venue: Starr Hill Music Hall City: Charlottesville, VA SBD>Waveterminal U2A (48khz)>Dell Inspiron 8000>WAV (downsampled in CE2K to 44.1 khz)>CD>EAC>FLAC Patch source: FOB of unknown provenance provided by Keith from Richmond (damn, can never remember the kind man's last name). Provides all but the first few seconds of Commentary and the first 1:29 of Good While it Lasted. CD 1 Halloween Jam (the Revenge) > No Time > Sailor Suit Crazy Town Neighbors Red Birds Bloody Mary Morning The One Way Commentary* Good While it Lasted* CD 2 Tear My Stillhouse Down (set 2) Spooky Jam > Dancing to the Requiem > Terra Firma Halloween Costume Contest Better for This Walking in Your Footsteps CD 3 Okracoke If I Lose Fly Swatter (encores) Vanity The Sweetest Breeze Patched with Richmond Keith's master FOB Caveat: As noted above, the SBD source was recorded at 48 khz and downsampled to 44.1 in Cool Edit 2000 - may Jupiter's curse follow that blasted program throughout eternity. What CE2K kindly does to sources it downsamples is contract the playing time by 3-4%, _without_ affecting the pitch, making it very easy for the corruption to go unnoticed. I seed this source only because other than Chris Mitchell, the soundman, I was the only one patched out of the board. If you get ahold of Mitchell's copy and know the Keith in Richmond I'm talking about (a large, affable type sporting a Mac and short, curly hair), you might want to try getting his FOB and doing a new patch - then seed it to the masses. :-) Bill Tetzeli (laptaper@gmail.com) 4/26/2007
