This was apparently the first/only time these specific musicians played publicly in this configuration since they had recorded David's record some 14 years earlier for Rounder. I have great memories of this weekend as I somehow wound up with the job of driving Vassar to and from the Sacramento airport and from hotel to festival, etc. The rest of the band wasn't too bad either...
