I was fortunate enough to catch this band a handful of times in the late ’90s / early ’00s and truly had a great time. I feel like these tapes are few and far between so I consider this a nice diamond in the rough from the James Mullins Collection. --As you can tell from the setlist, a lot of the song names escape me, so any assistance here would be appreciated. If you want to listen to a couple hours of great mandolin lead acoustic music, get on this now while it’s still available. Also, if you’re into hearing performers tell the crowd to shut the fuck up, this show is for you. vg NOTES (5/13/2023): --Thanks so much to whomever originally recorded & shared out this David Grisman Quintet 1999 show & to James Mullins for getting the tapes into the hands of Bill Graves &, of course, to Bill Graves for the transfer & spreading this show far & wide for us all. Absolutely Appreciated on all fronts!! --I corrected some titles toward how they appear on the original albums --added the band members info...not sure at all regarding the band members of 'the Blades Of Grass' - this is just what their names sounded like on the recording when they were introducing themselves...if anyone knows this group & who these folks are, please won't you let us all know...there is zero info about them online (2 other groups I found online named the Blades Of Grass, but neither of them are these particular cats) --added more detail to the setlist...if anyone knows any of the many missing titles here, won't you be so kind as to let us all know?? --added more detail to the venue info --this venue no longer exists...it opened up on October 11, 1976 & held its last show on January 19, 2007...it was closed to make way for Lumière Place, a new casino development. --https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_Nights --I left in the original text file here renamed as 'original info' --added the ffp fingerprints to the text file ffp: DGQ_1999-03-20_S1T01.flac:90f08c369e6bc58681c82d6bceab418e DGQ_1999-03-20_S1T02.flac:0c912f3f1bdd76d3b5293ea2e8b91845 DGQ_1999-03-20_S1T03.flac:e876d77a10c6bced8ee2aac453400ea8 DGQ_1999-03-20_S1T04.flac:92c6d5838a8193c84915ac9666a1fb12 DGQ_1999-03-20_S1T05.flac:eb9276831bf3b8010b539f4a6122972d DGQ_1999-03-20_S1T06.flac:a7c7a9fec9f3bd3fae16b171f872098f DGQ_1999-03-20_S1T07.flac:96c122ab74e9620cf37938f1882dedb0 DGQ_1999-03-20_S1T08.flac:e021a4d790272eabe12bfaa901eec976 DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T01.flac:36f06882429c801dab75c417118fe8b1 DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T02.flac:dee26ba208e0d458f0eaa8b992c494fe DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T03.flac:47353b01031b864f6f7cdacaf47aad0d DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T04.flac:537bc5adb69d23385c8cf3378b86746c DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T05.flac:4c0a2da203d4558abd999bc46fc7c95f DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T06.flac:5213c1d2665ed8873d4efb32ea08245e DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T07.flac:665d69f6285dbf627ee097f33b768008 DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T08.flac:37acd4ae6ee02bb12c2e8ecc4197666d DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T09.flac:e9a50e8240a1470349bf2f83afdb8991 DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T10.flac:90625ba42cb527cbc59ae13718110720 DGQ_1999-03-20_S2T11.flac:2448629aefd99c1ed01b33891383b630
