I have seen David Grisman with his Bluegrass Experience three times.  That is a much more traditional bluegrass band.  This is the first time I'd seen the Quintet.  I was floored.  I don't know what this music is...bluegrass / jazz?  This was an awesome show at the new Freight and Salvage, which is a million times nicer than the old place.  The recording sounds excellent, IMO.
