The distortion on recording may be from the soundboard or from peaking on my minidisc - which would be the first time the minidisc's auto recording level allowed it to peak like it does.  This was a most unfortunate time for such distortion, however the music is so good and the energy so high that a little good ole analogesque distortion is almost appropiate.
