Devil In Disguise Taper's Comments: The Bottom Line" was in my opinion, the best club to see a show in NYC, in the 80's. Good sound, sightlines, and a casual atmosphere. More importantly, it was one of the few places where you could see a show at a decent hour, and still get home before the last train left town for the night. It's a shame it is no longer open. Here's THE DESERT ROSE BAND touring on their first album. I went to this show to tape it for a BYRDS buddy, who taped me SPIRIT stuff in his area. It was a good deal, as I loved THE BYRDS and all the solo acts! Even though I wasn't a huge country fan, these guys were killer! I met four of the original BYRDS, and Chris Hillman was BY FAR the nicest guy of the bunch, and very approachable. Enjoy! bpthree ---------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE KEEP THE LOSSLESS!!!
