Radio station used LOTS of compression as you can hear in the sample and the files.

You know, there's not a lot of bass players who could pull off a solo set on stand-up bass.  Maybe Rob Wasserman?
Edgar Meyer definitely proved it can be done and done beautifully.  Personally, this was the highlight of the festival
for me, music-wise.  Chris Steeley guests on Mandolin on the last 2 songs.
