TRIBUTE TO THE FOUNDING FATHERS: WARREN HELLMAN, EARL SCRUGGS & DOC WATSON Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival Banjo Stage SF, Ca Oct 6, 2012 Recorded by Daspyknows Recorded DFC appx 50 feet from stage-Left side of center aisle next to trash cans Schoeps MK4 w/NBox Tascam DR-100 24 Bit 48K Processed using Soundforge 10b, resample, to 16bit 44.1K TLH to convert to Flac 2012.40 I arrived at Banjo Stage at 6:45AM and the area in front of the board was mostly full. The only center spots were next to the trash cans which wasn't ideal but it was the best spot. On occasion you hear a bottle clink as people tossed their empty bottles into the recycling. The connector in my preamp started to go bad this day so there are a few pops and crackles that I fixed as best as I could in Soundforge. TRIBUTE TO THE FOUNDING FATHERS: WARREN HELLMAN, EARL SCRUGGS & DOC WATSON A very special tribute honoring the three great men of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass - featuring Alison Brown, Stuart Duncan, Tim O’Brien and Bryan Sutton, with special guests Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris with Heidi Clare & Colleen Browne (from the Wronglers), Peter Rowan, Nick Lowe & more!
