Cincinnati Rag Notes: These tapes were transferred @ 24 bit / 44.1 into WaveLab and normalized to 99%, some one channel at a time and some stereo linked. They were then converted to 16 bit, tracked and then burned to disc. Due to tape lengths and the fact that I was recording off the main stage at the same time and dubbing the Dahlonega DATs, there are incomplete sets. The cuts have been spliced without cross fades; the beginnings and ends of the sets have fades in and out. If you listen closely it’s not difficult to hear the music and cheers from the main stage bleeding over through the stage mics. These recordings have been kept raw to preserve their integrity, are unique and will be a great addition to bluegrass and Winterhawk lovers’ collections. Enjoy.
