The Kruger Brothers Red Hat Amphitheater Raleigh, NC 2023-09-30 Taper: Ultramega Location: Section 3, Row U, @25m from left stack Source: CA11 Cardioids->Tascam DR-07x 24bit/48k WAV->Audacity (balance, adjustments, fades, split tracks, FLAC)->TLH The Kruger Brothers played their set just before Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway Saturday night at the International Bluegrass Music Association World of Bluegrass concert at the Red Hat Amphitheater. Fantastic set by the brothers and their special guests honoring Doc Watson. During "Way Downtown" a train can be heard passing on the nearby tracks. It may actually add something to the capture. You be the judge. Jonah Horton on mandolin had an interesting perspective on the last song as quoted from his Facebook entry after the show: "We got to the end of our set and still had 2min left before we had to be finished. Jens started playing an original instrumental that we hadn’t rehearsed or heard. We all traded solos during a vamp section in the middle of the song, and during my solo, I did what anyone would do at the largest event in bluegrass: quote Weather Report." Fun times. Enjoy.
