Michael Cleveland was a child prodigy and is a nine time recipient of the IBMA fiddler of the year award. The Willingham Theater is a 193 seat auditorium in the little foothills town of Yadkinville, NC, with maybe the best acoustics of any place I've taped. I was seated front row, stage right well out of the sweet spot but still came away with a pretty nice capture. I misjudged my battery level going in and lost the last 2 songs and a small portion of the one before as my recorder went dead. Won't let that happen again!
