The Nitty Gritty boys are better than ever here and when the guests start rolling out the show takes on a new dimension. Highlights are New Grass Revival doing Hear Jerusalem Moan and Bruce Hornsby's smokin version of The Valley Road where he trades monster licks with Bela Fleck, Mark O'Conner and Jerry Douglas. The tape flip before Lost River caused a few missed notes at the beginning of the tune. Another tape flip occurred during Will The Circle Be Unbroken. I always really enjoyed this tape. In my opinion the drums are too strong at times in the mix but I think the quality overall is pretty nice. - Dub Irie 5/28/2006
