Anonymous Collection 1 Cassette Tape #80 features the Shenandoah Cut-Ups from Jim Clark's Culpeper Bluegrass Folk Festival, Culpeper, VA-July 10, 1972. The Cut-Ups frequently backed Red Smiley (of Reno & Smiley fame) and other bluegrass greats, and were a fine band in their own right (Clarence "Tater" Tate-fiddle, Herschel Sizemore-mandolin, Billy Edwards-banjo, Wesley Golding-guitar, & John Palmer-bass). Photographs from this festival can be found in the wonderful book, "Bluegrass Odyssey: A Documentary in Pictures and Words 1966-1986" by Carl Fleischhauer & Neil V. Rosenberg. --Mitchell Wittenberg Shenandoah Cut-Ups Jim Clark's Culpeper Bluegrass Folk Festival Culpeper, VA 7/10/72 Transfer by Keith Kreider 6/28/2006 T.E.C C-60:Nakamichi ZX7>M-Audio Firewire 410>Wavelab 5.01b Shenandoah Cutups: 01.
