The first portion of an early set by James Monroe & The Midnight Ramblers (James Monroe-guitar, Alan O'Byrant-banjo, James Bryan-fiddle, Larry Sledge-mandolin, & David Bowlin-bass) follows; O'Bryant would later help establish the famed Nashville Bluegrass Band, while Bryan and Sledge performed with Norman Blake's Rising Fawn String Ensemble in the early-1980's. --Mitchell Wittenberg
