The tape begins with the last half of a set by the Osborne Brothers (Sonny Osborne-banjo, Bobby Osborne-mandolin, Dale Sledd-guitar, & Robbie Osborne-bass); the first two songs of this set are found on Cassette #194. A set by fiddle maestro Chubby Wise follows; this was one of Chubby's last festival performances before retirement. His backing musicians (on guitar and banjo) are unknown, but several songs into the set he is joined by Charlie Waller-guitar, vocals, Bobby Osborne-mandolin, vocals, Walt Roberts-fiddle, 7 year old Keith Sewell-fiddle, and "J.K."-fiddle, from Kobe, Japan; "Can't You Hear Me Callin'", with Waller and Osborne doing their best Mac Wiseman-Bill Monroe imitation, really shines, as does a very moving "How Great Thou Art" to end the set. The tape ends with two songs performed by gospel greats, The Lewis Family (Pops, Little Roy, Miggie, Janis, Polly, Travis, & Wallace). --Mitchell Wittenberg
