Anonymous Collection Cassette #214 features a number of recordings made at Watermelon Park, Berryville, 

VA, circa-July 1977:  1) the last song of a set by Boone Creek (with Ricky Skaggs), 2) a rather 

pop-oriented bluegrass set by Southbound (Jimmy Haley-guitar, Louis Pyrtle-banjo, Dennis Severt-mandolin, 

& Doug Campbell-bass; Seldom Scene member-to-be, Lou Reid, helped form this band in 1974, but I don't 

believe he is featured here), 3) a short set by the Country Gentlemen (Charlie Waller-guitar, Doyle 

Lawson-mandolin, James Bailey-banjo, & Bill Yates-bass), and an abbreviated set from the Seldom Scene 

(John Starling-guitar, John Duffey-mandolin, Ben Eldridge-banjo, Mike Auldridge-Dobro, & Tom Gray-bass).
