Side A is a nice recording of a radio broadcast, while Side B is an audience recording of relatively inferior fidelity in comparison. It's nice, for a change of pace, to hear Grisman's Quartet rather than his more typical Quintet recordings, while featuring tunes from "Quintet '80" (1980), "Mondo Mando" (1981), and "Dawg Grass/Dawg Jazz" (1983). --Mitchell Wittenberg
