Knockin' On Your Door # Caleb Elder - Fiddle Smokin’ Grass formed in 1994 in Burlington, Vermont. Over the next ten years, the genre-blending newgrass jamband toured nationally, performing in over thirty states, independently released two successful CDs and appeared on numerous compilations. Though there were a few changes in the group’s lineup during that time, the heart of the band was the artistry and interplay between the trio of Adam Frehm (dobro), Doug Perkins (guitar) and Mike Santosusso (bass). For the first time in ten years, together with drummer Caleb Bronz (Smokin’ Grass 2001-2005) and mandolinist Matt Schrag (Dojo, After The Rodeo), Smokin’ Grass will reunite for a special performance celebrating Nectar’s 40th anniversary.
