I'm presuming that Tut was referring to Dobro and pedal steel maestro, Jerry Byrd ('The Master of Touch and Tone'). However, while several twin-Dobro tunes open the tape, I'm not convinced that the second Dobroist is Byrd (although the second Dobro player is quite accomplished). Most of this tape contains Tut practicing Dobro by himself. --Mitchell Wittenberg
