Notes:
the Osborne Brothers (Bobby Osborne-mandolin, vocals, Sonny Osborne-banjo, vocals, Donnie Collins-guitar, vocals, Buddy Spicher-fiddle. Jimmy Dewayne Brock-bass, vocals) recorded on a hot day at the Stone Valley Bluegrass Festival in West Harrison, IN on what I believe is August 6, 1982.  The sound is generally crisp and clear, although the recording of the Osborne Brothers has occasional sound balance issues and is a bit boomy at times.  Paul Adkins is a fine replacement for famed guitarist and vocalist Keith Whitley in The New South, and hall of fame fiddler Buddy Spicher just tears it up on “Lime Rock” during his featured segment during the Osborne’s set. Sweet!
